Hike: Captain Thomas Track
Join us for a scenic hike on the Captain Thomas Track, one of Christchurch's most popular coastal walks. Winding through native bush, this track offers beautiful harbour views, peaceful forest surroundings, and plenty of opportunities to stop for photos along the way.
The trail includes a steady climb with some steeper sections, making it best suited to those with a moderate level of fitness. We'll take regular breaks, walk at a comfortable social pace, and enjoy getting outdoors while meeting new people.
What to bring:
-
Comfortable walking shoes with good grip
-
Water
-
Snacks
-
Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
-
Sunscreen and a hat
Whether you're looking to explore a new trail, enjoy nature, or connect with like-minded people, we'd love to have you join us for a fun morning on the track!
