About Us

Welcome to Introverted But Social, an Auckland-based community created for women who value meaningful connection in a calm, supportive, and low-pressure environment.

We believe that being social doesn’t have to mean being loud, outgoing, or constantly “on.” Introverted But Social is designed for those who enjoy connection in their own way - through thoughtful conversations, smaller gatherings, and environments that feel comfortable rather than overwhelming.

Our community offers a safe and welcoming space for introverted women to meet, connect, and build friendships at their own pace, without pressure or expectation.

Why it Exists

Introverted But Social was created to bridge the gap between wanting connection and feeling drained by traditional social settings.

Many social spaces are fast-paced or high-energy, which can make it hard for introverted people to feel at ease. This group exists to offer an alternative -gentle, low-pressure experiences where connection feels natural and authentic.

Our events prioritise comfort over chaos, quality over quantity, and connection over competition. From relaxed coffee catch-ups and creative workshops to mindful walks, each experience is thoughtfully curated to support meaningful interaction while respecting personal boundaries and space.

Note from the Founder

Hi, I’m Manjot

I created Introverted but Social because I wanted the kind of community I was searching for myself - a space where introverted women could connect without needing to change who they are.

I believe some of the most meaningful connections happen in quiet moments, through empathy, deep listening, and shared understanding. My intention with this group is to create environments where people feel safe, welcomed, and understood, even without having to say much.

I’ve never been someone who instantly hits it off with new people. My approach has always been slow - the more I see someone and get to know them, the more comfortable I become, and the more I open up.

For introverts, connection is built on comfort and trust. That’s why it can take time to feel close to someone - and that’s exactly the kind of space this community was created to offer.
